Agathos gratefully accepts financial contributions and appreciated stock, which are tax-deductible to the full extent of the law, to fund operations, future projects, and financial aid.  Agathos Classical School is a non-profit 501©3 organization (EIN 56-2345558.)  Because services are received, tuition payments are not tax-deductible.  We receive the full amount of gifts made by check or EFT transfer from your bank account. Credit and debit cards are also accepted, but processing fees reduce the amount Agathos receives. Donating is easy and you receive a receipt instantly.

If you feel so led, Agathos is humbly honored to receive your donation.  To receive a tax receipt immediately, you may click on the DONATE NOW button (above.)  If you prefer to receive a hard copy tax receipt by mail, you may send a check to:

Agathos also welcomes gifts of appreciated stock. Please contact the office for details.  Thank you for considering Agathos a worthy investment!

Soli Deo Gloria!

Liam’s Wish

When the Make-A-Wish foundation contacted Liam McCalmon, a 4th-grade ACS student, who is battling cancer, they found a servant-hearted student eager to see the high school students reunited with the PreK-8th graders on the main campus. He told his mom, “I want my wish to glorify God. I want to see a new building at Agathos so all of the students can be back together again!”

Prayer

Each school day begins with faculty and staff gathering for prayer before students arrive. We seek His blessing, protection, provision and guidance as we disciple students. We invite you to pray personally for the Board, staff, students, and families of Agathos to help us glorify God in all that we do. Your support in this area is deeply appreciated! Agathos Parent Council includes a member to focus on encouraging parents to pray together for the school. Contact the office to reach and learn more about group prayer opportunities.

Volunteer

We both need and enthusiastically welcome volunteers, especially parents and grandparents! Opportunities include chaperoning field trips, assisting in art class (extra adult hands are a must when young classes paint!), organizing class parties, planning fundraisers (Stone Soup Supper and Cocoa Bella are Agathos’ two largest annual events), assisting with campus maintenance, and visiting as a guest speaker. Contact your child’s teacher or our Agathos Parent Council through the office to discuss current needs and how you can get involved.
