Row On: Alumni Reflections Beyond the Shore
SEMINAR 4 | Featuring Levi Pettit, Samuel Whatley, Amelia Griffith & Charlotte Simmons
The voyage of education doesn’t end at graduation—it only changes waters. For over 20 years, Agathos Classical School has sought to form students who not only think deeply and speak clearly, but who live faithfully, guided in their next steps by the compass of Truth, Goodness, and Beauty.
Join us November 20th and 21st for the fourth session of Navigate Agathos, Row On: Alumni Reflections Beyond the Shore, as we glimpse what happens when that formation meets real life. In this inspiring conversation, alumni share their reflections on what it means to “row on” after Agathos—how the classical foundation laid in their formative years continues to steady their course through college, career, and calling.
Our alumni panel—Levi Pettit, Samuel Whatley, Amelia Griffith, and Charlotte Simmons—will answer common parent questions and reflect on how the habits of mind and heart cultivated during their time at Agathos—attentive reading, thoughtful questioning, disciplined study, and prayerful reflection—continue to bear fruit in their lives today. Together, they will explore how a classical Christian education from Agathos prepares students to live with wisdom and courage amid the shifting tides of culture.
This conversation offers both encouragement and insight for parents and families. It’s a reminder that the long days and hard work—from memorization and mentorship to perseverance and prayer—are all part of a far greater voyage. The effort is worth it. The formation is lasting. And the destination is far more than worldly success—it’s a life ordered toward Christ.
Join us as we listen to these alumni voices from beyond the shore and celebrate the faithfulness of a God who continues to steer every Agathos student, long after graduation, toward the Good, the True, and the Beautiful. Soli Deo Gloria.
