WHat is the annual fund
The Annual Fund: The Heart of Agathos
At Agathos, we believe education is not simply about acquiring knowledge. Through the pursuit of the True, the Good, and the Beautiful, classical Christian education forms students who are prepared to live wisely, love deeply, and serve faithfully.
The Annual Fund is the school’s primary giving initiative, a vital part of sustaining the mission of Agathos here in Columbia, TN. Each year, families and friends join together to ensure that Agathos has the resources to flourish—providing for the daily operations of the school, enriching the campus with beauty, and equipping our teachers and students with what they need to thrive.

How Your Gift Helps
The Annual Fund touches every part of life at Agathos!
1. Sustaining Classical Education
Your giving helps supports the daily work of Agathos—ensuring that classrooms are alive with recitations, rich literature, lively discussions, and the timeless practices that shape hearts and minds.
2. Supporting Teachers & Students
Teachers are the heart of a classical education. The Annual Fund provides for faculty development, classroom resources, and student needs, ensuring both teachers and students have what they need to flourish academically and socially.
3. Enriching the Beauty of Agathos
Beauty is central to the classical vision. Your generosity enriches the beauty of our campus—creating an inspiring place where joy, learning, and community can bloom in every classroom and in all of campus life.
4. Tuition Affordability & Access
Agathos is dedicated to our community and believes classical Christian education should be accessible for all families. Annual giving supports the operating budget, which helps hold tuition steady, provides assistance when needed, and keeps tuition affordable for every family.
The Annual Fund is about more than reaching a dollar amount—it’s about participation. When every family gives, we model generosity for our children and embody the very community we hope to create and instill in our children. When each family gives, the whole community thrives.
Please consider choosing a monthly pledge or a one-time gift. All pledges can be fulfilled through the school year. Every gift—large or small—helps nurture the life of Agathos and makes the pursuit of Truth, Goodness, and Beauty tangible for our students.
