Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

Favorite Quote:

by Ralph Waldo Emerson

To laugh often and love much, to win respect of intelligent people, and the affection of children;
To appreciate beauty; To find the best in others; To give one’s self;
To leave the world a little better, whether by a healthy child, a garden patch, or redeemed social condition;
To have played and laughed with enthusiasm and sung with exultation;
To know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived…
This is to have succeeded.

Favorite Passage:  Hebrews 12:1-2
Favorite Education Quote:  “Every age has its own outlook. It is specially good at seeing certain truths and specially liable to make certain mistakes. We all, therefore, need the books that will correct the characteristic mistakes of our own period…The only palliative is to keep the clean sea breeze of the centuries blowing through our minds, and this can be done only by reading old books. Not, of course, that there is any magic about the past. People were no cleverer then than they are now; they made as many mistakes as we. But not the same mistakes.”

Biographical Information

Susannah lives in Hampshire TN with a hubby who loves to talk Music and Theology, four boys who love to blast epic movie scores or pound them out on the piano, and one girl who will happily join Mom for some Korean Drama binge-watching of an evening. She attends Cornerstone Presbyterian Church in Franklin, TN, where she occasionally fills in on the piano or sings for worship services. If she can’t be found teaching a music class, piano lesson, children’s Sunday School class, or Traditional Foods and Theology class, she will probably be found teaching the yard.  Connecting the dots across many disciplines to show the Glory of Jesus is her passion. Susannah is humbled by the privilege to show the love of the Lord to Agathos Grammar School minds and hearts through the discipline and beauty of Music.

“YAH is my strength and my song; He has become my Yeshua Salvation!” Ps 118:14

“Next to the Word of God, the noble art of Music is the greatest treasure in the world.”

– Martin Luther

“The books or the music in which we thought the Beauty was located will betray us if we trust to them. It was Not in them; it only came through them, and what came through them was longing. These things are good images of what we really desire; but if they are mistaken for the thing itself they turn into dumb idols, breaking the hearts of their worshippers.” -Lewis. The Weight of Glory.
