Mark Seago

Mark and his wife, Tina, were one of 5 founding board families when the school launched its humble beginnings in the barn of an unsuspecting friend in 2003. Their oldest child, Andrew, is Agathos’ first alumnus (Class of 2015) and is currently studying architecture at the University of Notre Dame.  Their six other children currently attend Agathos:  Ethan (11th), Ella (9th), Liam (34th), Emre (3rd),  Libby (1st), and Whitt (Pre-K).  Mark is a practicing Internal Medicine and Pediatrics Hospitalist at Maury Regional Medical Center and Tina is a full-time mother who remains active in many of the behind the scenes operations supporting the school. They are members of Pleasant Heights Baptist Church and have lived in Columbia, TN since 2001.

Jonathan Pettit

Jonathan and his wife Ella moved to Columbia in 2006.  They have 4 children.  The older 3 attend Agathos, with the youngest well on her way to following in their footsteps.  Jonathan is an orthopaedic surgeon practicing sports medicine at the Mid-Tennessee Bone and Joint Clinic.  He has been on the board since 2008.  The Pettits attend Maury Hills Church.


LeAnn Kaylor

LeAnn and her husband Makky were born and raised in Memphis, TN and have lived in Middle Tennessee for over 25 years.  They moved to Columbia in 2003.  Their daughter Macy (9th grade) has attended Agathos since Kindergarten.  In addition to LeAnn’s Board responsibilities, she is past chair of Ladies of Agathos (now known as Agathos Parent Council), five-years co-chair of the silent auction portion of Agathos’ spring fundraiser, Cocoa Bella, as well as chair of the school’s fall fund dinner, Stone Soup Supper. LeAnn is Makky’s wife of 31 years, mom to Macy and a beauty specialist with Estee’ Lauder Cosmetics.


Tammy Fowler

Tammy and her children have been a part of the Agathos Family since 2011. Her son Max is a 7th grader and her daughter Macy Kate is a 3rd grader at Agathos. This is Tammy’s 3rd year to serve on the Board of Trustees. Prior to her role as Treasurer of the Board, she served as Treasurer for the Agathos Parent’s Council, as well as the Servant’s Club Coordinator. Tammy is a native of Middle Tennessee. She is an alumna of Freed-Hardeman University and Tennessee Technological University and is a Certified Public Accountant with Betts & Rubio, PLLC in Nashville. Tammy is actively involved with the youth program at North View Church of Christ, where she has lead the Kids for Christ program in the past. When Tammy is not working or volunteering at Agathos, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, reading, and running.


Glenn Campbell

Glenn and his wife, Lori, were one of the founding board families of Agathos in 2003.  Glenn has continued to serve on the board of trustees since that time, while Lori has taught first grade.  They have two children, Harrison and Meredith, who both attend Agathos.  Glenn is a financial advisor with Ameriprise Financial.  They have lived in Columbia, TN since 1996 and are members of Pleasant Heights Baptist Church.



Robert Plunk

Robert and his wife Kim have lived in the Spring Hill area since getting married in 2000. They have two sons and a daughter, Ryan in 5th grade, and Cason in 2nd. Both boys have been proudly attending  Agathos since Pre-K. The newest addition to the Plunk family, Hallie, was born in November 2015, and looks forward to being an active part of the Agathos graduating class of 2034! Robert has served in public education for 21 years as a teacher and as an administrator. This is his first term serving on the board. In addition, he has been an active member of the Agathos Building Committee since its inception, and also served as co-chair for the Agathos Golf Tournament Fundraiser in 2015. Robert and his family are members of Thompson Station Church.


Matt Mitchell

Matt and his wife Barb are parents to ACS 4th grade student, Gray.  Gray joined the ACS student body in 2015 as a 3rd grader and Matt and Barb wasted no time diving right in and helping out wherever there was a need.  Matt is president of Pace Communications E-Commerce out of Greensboro, NC and Barb is a blogger for ACW Management Corp. out of High Point, NC.  You will see Matt around campus with a hammer, etc. making repairs and most recently Barb has been responsible for planting and maintaining the splashes of color around campus.  The Mitchells attend Wellspring Christian Church in Spring Hill and we are excited that Matt has joined our Board of Trustees and look forward to the business experience that he brings.
